Funny but true

Just wanna share this experience with you guys. When I was in College, I have lots of experience but this one is the most memorable on me. It's not that this one has something that I need to treasure off but it's something that was very funny that I could not afford to forgot. I don't know why. LOL

There was one time that my roommates where watching something in the room. When I arrived I got no idea what they are watching. I stopped for a moment to mingle. I found out that they are watching Kayden Kross on Blake Logan in the computer. They have fun. They have fun in mocking those person they see. I don't no why and they just keep on laughing with it.

It so happen that my other roommate came in. He is some kind of innocent person. My roommates invited him to join. And in fact they offer the front seat for him. Maybe he just can't resist my roommates or he also wants to mingle with them, he agreed.

He asked my roommates what if somebody from the other room would come? And what will he do to hide it. Well, I don't know why my roommate do this but they prank him. Instead of teaching him to press alt+tab to hide the screen they said to press the capturing key of the keyboard that would make it automatic to be the wallpaper.

To make the story short, somebody came in from the other room and it so happen that it was the faculty female teacher and then my innocent roommate panicked and press the button that my roommate told. And then what comes next? hahaha

Beware of this Silent Killer!

Do you have any idea what is MSG or the Mono Sodium Glutamate? Well you should be aware of this thing and how does this thing greatly affects us.

As a small introduction of MSG, it is is a salt of the amino acid - Glutamic Acid (glutamate). A salt is the chemical name for a molecule held together by opposite charges. Basically one (mono) sodium atom is "stuck" to the amino acid glutamate. Basically you will gonna learn more about this stuff later of this post.

Actually this MSG is just considered as a trick to your tongue into making you think a certain food is high in protein and thus nutritious. It is not a "meat tenderizer". It is not a "preservative". The food industry is trying to confuse the issue by focusing on the "fifth" taste sense they call umami. Well the TRICK means a lot, it could be one of the deceptions we are not expecting that we already fall into with.

If I had only wear my Sunblocks

Just a weeks ago, I went out for an adventure with my friends. We climbed one of the best mountains in Mindanao, it was the Camiguin's Mt. Hibok-Hibok. The entire trip was great and lots of fun and then all of us enjoyed the activity. We shared laughs and more talks which is very relaxing.

When we finish the activity, I notice that my skin color changed. And to find out it was because I was expose to sun for the whole time when we are at the peak. But actually I did not even notice that I was expose to the sun when I was there. Maybe it's just because the temperature up there was very cold and you can even feel the sun penitrating your skin because of the coldness of the wind that touches it. But actually the sun did! And then find out that it really affects to our skin.

I was just too late when I realize that it would be best if I had put Sunblock on my skin. Maybe I have minimize the effect on it aside from covering my skin from the exposure. I know that if I had put Sunblocks on it then I would suffer skin changed and worst Sun burn. But it was all too late because all of those Sunblock reviews that I've read fews days from the activity was not even applied. Well It was really a mistake of not putting sunblocks in my skin.

Anyways, that could be another mistake to learn. Lol good for me! But it was too harsh that i suffered sun burn and skin pealing. Next time I won't forget such thing anymore. But it too some up everything, well it is still okay because I had enjoy the entire trip. Thanks to my friends. And I could recommend it too! But be sure not to forget your sunblocks.

Typhoon Ondoy continue to hit Philippines particularly in the area of Luzon. And most of the cities in neighboring places in manila are flooded and reported to be in Signal no. 1 and 2.


The number of people that are in need of help are increasing. Some people are reported as missing. Sad to say there are also people that were killed due to hypothermia. And currently, as we can see on the news, there are lots of people out there that needs to be rescue and given some support. Some were reported that were stuck at the roof for about 45 hours or more. Kiss boredom goodbye with Web Developing

Well, my boredom days was already over. Isn't it great huh?

Anyways, just as last week, I was hired as Junior Web Developer. 'Twas really happy knowing I have "now" something to do and at the same time earning a li'l bit cash. But along with that, I have to do some tasks and assignments with deadlines. But it's okay doing such stuff would help me in some ways.

I'm working with a good boss. I can say he's nice because he's nice to me. LOL. Also, I'm working with a very good mentor, very professional and a "Filipino". So, that means magkakaintindihan kami and di msyado mahirap. . . hahaha (you can ask me what does it means if you don't understand what I was saying).

What's good here is like two things. First, I got something to make me busy and not being bored and at the same time earning. And second, I'm learning! Hahaha. This one is an opportunity for me that's why I grabbed it.

Chat program for Linux terminal using NCurses

Hi guys! Do you have any idea about this stuff? I need help with this, I need to make a chat program in Linux platform. It should be using the NCurses library of Linux as the UI.

My problem here is, I've implemented a program, should I say a running program without the NCurses. But when I started to add the UI of it, I don't know how to do it anymore. I was stuck on that part.

So anyone could help me make this program because I am badly needing it for my school requirements. These program almost made me crazy. :) I've been sleepless for many nights because of this. How sad.

Feels like Insomnia

Have you felt like exhausted the next day? Feeling miserable because you feels tired with little sleep or worst no sleep because of sleeping disorder like Insomnia. Have you felt like every time you lay down on bed suddenly you're racing with thought and concern that you didn't know it would be possible? Well, I was describing mine.

I'm suffering Insomnia. Insomnia is a sleep disorder that is characterized by difficulty falling and/or staying asleep. Symptoms of Insomnia includes difficulty falling asleep, waking up often during the night and having trouble going back to sleep, waking up too early in the morning, and feeling tired upon waking.

I don't know where did I get this but maybe this is because I was used to sleep late when I was still a student that even change my body clock. For all this time, I was thinking how to cure this one.

Boredom to the MAX

At this point, I'm struggling with this feeling called BOREDOM. I don't have any idea on what to do or where to go. I'm thinking of something that I do not know. I want to do something but I do not know what is it.

I'm stucked at this time trying to be busy typing but to think only my fingers are busy - as well as my brain. But still nothing changed.

A Legend and A King

Michael Joseph Jackson (August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009), "King of Pop", was an American recording artist and entertainer. His innovative contributions to music and dance, along with a highly publicized personal life, made him a central part of popular culture around the world for four decades.

The seventh child of the Jackson family, he made his performing debut in 1964 as a member of the group that became The Jackson 5, beginning a solo career in 1971. His 1982 album Thriller remains the best-selling album of all time, with four others—Off the Wall (1979), Bad (1987), Dangerous (1991), and HIStory (1995)—among the best selling. He popularized several physically complicated dance moves, such as the robot and the moonwalk, now iconic. He is widely credited with having transformed the music video from a promotional tool into an art form, with videos such as Thriller, "Beat It" and "Billie Jean" making him the first African American to amass a strong crossover following on MTV, and others, such as "Black or White" and "Scream", ensuring his popularity well into the 1990s.

Jackson's personal life generated significant controversy. His changing appearance was noticed from the early 1980s, his skin appearing paler and his facial features becoming almost androgynous. He was accused in 1993 of child sexual abuse, and though no charges were brought, his health suffered when he started using painkillers to cope with the stress. He married twice, first in 1994 and again in 1996, and brought up three children, one of them with a surrogate mother, actions that triggered more speculation about his life. In 2005, he was tried and acquitted of different child molestation allegations, which provoked a further decline in his health. Jackson died at the age of 50 on June 25, 2009, in Los Angeles, after suffering cardiac arrest. His memorial service was broadcast live around the world, and watched by up to one billion people.

Back to School

School year 2009-2010 has just started, for those students that were very excited in going back to school and for those students who hates the other way around.

Most of the students were very busy, if not in preparing their stuff or buying school supplies. My younger sisters and brothers were not exempted on this. They cannot almost sleep thinking what they'll gonna wear in their first day in school as well as what they'll gonna say to those people around them.

Some are also thinking if who will be their teachers, if she/he will be a strict or jolly one. Thinking if they could cope up with the lessons easily. Those are just normal feelings usually encounter during the beginning of the school year but as time go along, things will be okay and normal.

And for me, I've just missed the feeling of going to school and meeting new people.

If You are the Girl

Uhmm hello guys. I need some help with this, especially to the girls. I need some of your opinions.

Okay, here's the situation. I have a friend. One time, they went to a basketball game. While watching the game, he noticed that there was a pretty girl on his front when they entered the gym. At first, he did not mind her and instead go to find for a spot to see the game clearly. And so with the girl. But to make the story short they stayed in place not so far with each other. In fact, they are just about 6 to 7 meters away from each other near enough to see each other. Because she was pretty, as in very pretty that even looks like a celebrity, he stared at her once in a while. One time he caught that girl also staring at him. At first he did not mind it but as time passes they always caught each others eye and flattered. And he said to me that the moment she stares at him and when he caught her eyes they'll pretend of doing something and one time she even caught the girl smiling on her own. Its not that the guy was assuming but some of his friends also noticed the girl and in fact they've observed it too.

He asked me if what is my opinion on this. But the problem is, I can't hardly say because I'm not the girl even though I've shared to him my opinion as a guy. He's questions was "Did the girl like him too as he likes her?" and "What was possibly on her mind that time?".

Summer has almost Ended

Summer is almost over. After so much fun and vacation we've experience within 2 months, that would be enough i guess. The school days are drawing nearer.

Maybe some of us are quite excited for this and maybe some are not. Some are very excited for their first day in school thinking if who might be their new classmate and if they could see again their old classmates.

Prison break Finale - Goodbye Michael J. Scofield

The popular tv series in US - Prison Break has come to an end.

For four season we've seen Michael Scofield and his friends had undergone a lot of challenges and near death experience that made the series amazingly different from the others. For the entire duration of the series, they kept on running and being chase by different groups who are trying to manipulate Michael's skills. And even his own family was involved with this.

The final episode of the fourth season was great in the sense that all of those people that were used by the group named The company that were all treated as criminals by the government were given justice and freedom. Freedom that they were innocent from all the crimes that were alleged on them but also free as anybody who can be who ever they want.

The bad guys were punished and served based on the crimes they made. The General was imprisoned and was sentence to death in Fox River. T-bag was also sent back to Fox River even though he claimed as one of the good guys who helped to find scylla and give it to Mr. Kellerman who was believed to be dead but surprisingly he was alive and the one who is in charge in chasing scylla for good. Mrs Cristina Scofield, the mother of Michael, was also killed after Sara shot her at the back.

After four years when the scylla was handed to the authorities. Aside from Sucre who realize his dream to be with his beloved wife Maricruz as well as Benjamin Franklin who loves his family very much and they were together. Also, Alex Mahone have located his wife Pam but he preferred to live with his assistant Agent Lang and Michael's brother Linc, settled down in Panama together with Sophia and his son Lj. And lastly, Sara had delivered her son who's name was Michael Jr. but raise him without his father Michael. Michael died because of his illness brain tumor. Even though it seems to be unhappy but Michael was the only reason that makes everyone connected since they find time to gather together and spend time to visit Michael's grave next to a sea.

Overall the series was nice and great one! No doubt it was the number one tv series in US next to Heroes.

Heroes Season four (Redemption) Spoilers

Maybe you and a lot of those heroes fans were quite excited and wondering on what will happen on the next season of heroes. As of now,. we can't talk much about these coming season but I've collected some information about it.

I know most of us enjoyed the previous season 3 25 episodes with their nice ending. Heroes Season 4 (Volume 5) will be called the "Redemption". Its current plan is to make the volume shorten into 18 to 20 episodes.

The show's writer have planned a lot for the fifth volume. Aaccording to Bryan Fuller it really will be a brave new era for the show. Bryan tells us:

“Fugitives was such a dark chapter in the history of Heroes, so we look at Redemption as a unifying theme for next season. We’re going to see redemption for all of the characters in one respect or another. Our goal going into season four is taking every character and making that character’s story evolve into an entire series. We just want the smorgasbord of Heroes to be as satisfying for everybody.” Smorgasbord or no, among those Heroes getting a special treatment next year is Masi Oka’s Hiro Nakamura. Bryan Fuller says that, “The Hiro story for season four is the best story we’ve ever come up with for Hiro. It’s so emotional and exciting and adventurous.”

World Hypertension Day

May 17 of 2009 was declared to be the World's Hypertension Day. The theme for World Hypertension Day (WHD) 2009 is “Salt and High Blood Pressure: Two Silent Killers.”

The Day aims to highlight that:

• High blood pressure is the biggest single cause of death worldwide through strokes, heart attacks and kidney diseases
• Salt is the major factor putting up blood pressure
• Reducing salt intake reduces blood pressure across the population
• If salt intake was reduced by half it would save approximately 2.5 million people a year dying unnecessarily of strokes, heart attacks and chronic kidney diseases worldwide

Great percentage of death not only here in Philippines but also in other countries were caused by Hypertension. Hypertension was believe to be a traitor and a silent killer. And these are the reasons that pushed the World Hypertension League to initiate these event as a way of reminding people about these issue.

There are some ways to lessen and avoid these major problem. These are from experts who specialized on these field of medicine.

Salts are believe to be one of the main cause of such illness. Because of that, these should be minimized from our daily consumption. Salt is one of the silent killer that could trigger and lead us to different sickness. It could affect most of the human system.

Having high blood pressure was not uncommon to Pilipinos. Pilipinos love to eat high fat content foods. These are also one cause of having high blood aside from hereditary. Doctors suggest that we must minimized on eating more of these kind of foods. These would just lead us into suffering.

Aside from that, cigarettes and alcohol are also included on the list. These are considered as pesticides for the human body. Some say that this stuff has advantage to them but they didn't considered the other side. Letting this stuff into our body is more likely killing our self. These greatly affects the human lungs and the kidney. Worst could be, you will end up 6 ft below the ground.

Exercise and balanced diet would be appreciated to avoid hypertension. That's the best way to avoid it. Some would say it is very difficult to do but these is just for their own health. If you do it then you will have the reward otherwise you will compromise yourself.
