i ran this problem in my head for awhile, i tried many dif ways of looking at it. And no common relationship exists between patters that i have found. So instead of guessing the (+1 + +3. witch would make it 9+7=1010) which is the only thing i could make work. i am going to stay in reality and say.

9+7= 16

In reality it's 16.

But with that problem, it's 144.
